Then & Now...
Northern Kentucky Home Insurance Company was formed as a co-op in 1901 and continues to maintain its high level of integrity and service. Former president Earnest Rahe said, "It really boils down to community values."
Cooperative insurance could be compared to the tradition of barn raising. If a family's barn was destroyed, the whole community came together to restore the building. It is in this spirit of Ben Franklin that the policyholders of Northern Kentucky Home Insurance Company, in the event of a loss, help "bear one another's burdens."
Our company is organized under Chapter 299 of Kentucky Insurance law. All personal policyholders are members of the co-op and are given voting rights to determine, by election, the members of the Board of Directors.
Northern Kentucky Home Insurance Company is pleased to be a part of keeping the "Ben Franklin" concept of insurance management alive for each new generation.
We invite you to become a part of this unique company.
